It has certainly been a while since I updated this! I did get to climb a bit during the past few months in bishop, yosemite, red rocks and tahoe. Its been pretty amazing - I've met a lot of ridiculously strong climbers - and I will try to get more footage posted soon.

Also, I did maybe my favorite boulder problem to date, king air v10 (yosemite), and although I have no video of me climbing up, I do have uncut footage of trying to get down (special thank you to John and Nick)! More to come!

Finally, here is a link to a great compilation of boulders and one route here around the bay area:

Maz Zolotukhin on Drive On. MZ is on a tear lately - having done, in the last month, Chinese Connection, Hellamental (left and right exit),  Wall to Wall Carpet Sit, Kraken, flashing Wick's Problem and Orion (just to mention a few). undone yosemite and bishop projects await :)

Sonora Pass (Final Edition)

Quick video of sweet sixteen (click here), v8, (FA Sander Pick) - a tall climb with a bad landing when the snow melts away. Probably one of the best lines of its grade in CA! It has since been done by Josh Neuman, Moses Potter and Ethan Pringle. I really have to thank Byron Wolter for this vid - made through carrying 65 pounds of equipment over a few miles of alpine terrain. It is amazing how much work it takes to shoot and edit a small climbing clip - so Byron - thanks again!!
Josh on Wild Onion V5 - a great moderate with a hard press move, FA Sander Pick

Josh on the 2nd move of the lolita project - a possible 8C that goes up the arete.

Alpine Bouldering in Sonora Pass

talus field from the top

and after all that hiking, the view out

Josh under the gem - this boulder has 5-6 lines - two have gone: sweet sixteen V8/9 FA Sander - which goes straight up from where Josh is; and semisweet V8/9 which starts same as SS and goes right and up. The right arete possibly goes (V14+) and is an amazing and pure line. The problem to the left of SS is in the V12 range. There are several more lines to the left of that.
